Welcome to the JHSC Freeride Program Snow King Terrain Park RALLY!
Anyone who has watched the X-Games or the Winter Olympics can attest to how impressive the freeski and snowboard atheltes are to watch. The JHSC Freeride Program is a grassroots feeder program for atheltes in these disciplines. We work hard to teach freeskiing and snowboarding fundamentals to aspiring athletes with the terrain and ammenities available to us.
We owe it to the youth to give them access to size appropriate jumps and rails for training. This prepares them for their competitions and travels throughout the year. This year we have built "the best park ever... at Snow King" and will be hosting the USASA Rail Jam and Slopestyle competition here on February 24-25.
Millions of gallons of water, countless hours of labor and a whole lot of love go into the construction of this park. We need your help of offset the costs associated with these training tools. Every dollar counts.
This benefits the entire snowboarding and freeskiing community of Jackson Hole!
Why We're Raising Funds
In particular, with our recent improvements to snowmaking at Snow King we are working to maintain a terrain park as a primary training feature and for all to enjoy.
Remember, this supports young athletes and stokes the vibe (and economy) for freeskiing and snowboarding in Jackson Hole!
To help kick this rally off the AION BOARD SHOP of JACKSON HOLE will match the first $5,000 raised dollar for dollar! So when you give $1 the JHSC Freeride program gets $2!
Will match the first $5,000 raised!
Not our FIRST RODEO (5)!
Going back as far as the early 1990's the JHSC supported a snowboard team and in 2002 the JHSC Freeride program was officially established to support competitive freeskiing and snowboarding. This program is part of Jackson, WY's oldest nonprofit (the Jackson Hole Ski & Snowboard Club founded in 1938). For almost 15 years the program has inspired 100's of young athletes to be champions in snowboarding, freeskiing, and in life.

Last weekend was the first -ever USASA sanctioned Slopestyle event in the Snow King terrain Park. We had rider from all over the Big Mountain West Region here to compete on the town hill. These photos, taken by Brandon Ulp of the Snow King terrain Park Crew, are just a slice of the action.
The Snow King Park is open to the public and ready to shred! We had to postpone the USASA Rail Jam and Slopestyle event until February 24 & 25. Come on out and test the jumps in what is being claimed as the "best park ever built at Snow King." - Rob LaPier
The Snow King Park is back under construction after a short mechanical mishap with the winch cat...
