Keep Women's Ski Jumping Flying in 2016!
As a supporter of women’s ski jumping, we know you believe in what this unique sport offers girls and women around the nation: building confidence, character and courage that will set them apart as leaders and mentors. Our recently passed fearless leader, Deedee Corradini, loved to say every girl should have the chance to be a Fly Girl, to soar toward her dreams. Now more than ever, we need your support to give them this opportunity.
We need funding to remain one of best jumping programs in the world!
Unlike many of our global competitors, we do NOT receive government funding for our equipment, coaching, travel, and other competition expenses. We rely on our supporters, sponsors, parents and athletes to fund our program. This year, we need to raise at least $75,000 to fund our 2016 season.
We have strong podium potential for 2018 Olympic Winter Games in PyeongChang
Our national team is showing promising results with Nita Englund moving up to the A Team this season and Tara Gerghty-Moats jumping strong on the World Cup tour. The Fly Girls program continues to develop an impressive pool of future World Cup competitors.
The Women's Ski Jumping movement has persevered, accomplished Olympic-inclusion goals, producing world champions, and providing opportunities for young jumpers THANKS TO YOU! Supporters and volunteers are our lifeline and we thank you.
